The 2nd Annual New York City International Film Festival 2011 (NYCIFF11) Opening Night Jury Awards presented by Roberto Rizzo honored the best films of 2011 by emerging and established filmmakers from around the world at the Hudson theatre, Thursday, August 18, 8:00 PM. Mountaineer Short Film Festival; celebrating artistry, imagination, and
independent thought in video and multimedia. Screening works under 20 minutes,
programming categories include: documentary, narrative, animation/experimental, student films, and works that focus on Appalachian culture and
themes. This year, in addition to screening narrative, documentary, animation and experimental works, we have established a thematic category for works that explore issues relating to energy.
