UMFF 2013 Call for Entries Now Open! The Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF) promotes and supports a diverse independent media arts community in the Southeast and worldwide by showcasing independent projects from around the world in English and Spanish. UMFF 2013 brings a creative atmosphere that encompasses metro-Atlanta's signature of being culturally diverse. "Changing the World, One Story at a Time" is the festival's theme, with exceptional films -- animations, shorts, features, documentaries, music videos, web/TV series and scripts in competition. Over $20,000 in cash and prizes awarded to winning filmmakers and writers. This fpir-day festival includes an opening night reception and film premiere, all-day independent film screenings, workshops/panels for filmmakers, writers, and actors, UMFF Script Reading featuring scenes from the top three screenplay writers in competition, networking, parties, UMFF Awards Presentation, and Sunday Brunch.
