XDance the innovative action sports film festival comes back for its 7th year in Park City, Utah. Held during the media fest of Sundance XDance has grown to be the largest actions sports film festival to date. With a diverse array of adrenaline filled cinema of all genres. First started in 2001, XDance highlights the films, filmmakers of encompasses surfing, snowboarding, free skiing, BMX, skateboarding and other action sports.

This year XDance has joined forces with LAT34 to present the 2007 Festival held January 19th to the 23rd.

LAT34 is the first on-demand action sports broadband network devoted to action sports. Based in Los Angeles, California, LAT34 was launched in June 2006 and presents an in-depth and comprehensive video, blogs, user-generated content, social networking, and breaking news website. Dedicating its self to the action sports growing market LAT34 is sure to expand its awareness with their partnership with the respected XDance. LAT 34, is a joint venture with powerhouse AOL and Fusion Entertainment.

In Park City each January amongst the mist of Hollywood and in the shadow of Sundance Film Festival XDance has climbed, skated, and surfed its way to create a space for those action sport filmmakers to share their vision. With over 30 films screening this year these films depict a wide array of dynamic action sports films. What it also brings is some of the top athletes, cutting-edge bands, DJs and some of the most popular parties to grace Main St. The celebration of action sports and the culture is a hip savvy and alluring combination and has continued to expand each year.

This year the winning film of the X-DANCE Film Festival will be awarded promotional opportunities worth up to $75,000 from Lat34.com. That type of award will be bringing the very best in actions sports films to the Festival this year. “Each year the festival grows exponentially, comments Festival Founder Brian Wimmer. “Everything keeps getting better – the quality of our films, our exposure to an even wider audience, our sponsor partners, and of course, our parties.”

XDance screenings are free and held at the Main Street Mall, at 333 Main Street, 2nd Floor of the, across from the Egyptian Theatre. The Festival will offer action sports films with filmmaker Q&As, nightly parties, and a closing night awards ceremony featuring a special guest music headliner.
