He is also an acting and dialogue coach. @SirajHSyed ![]() FIPRESCI-India calls for Entries for the Chidananda Dasgupta Memorial Award for Best Film CriticismFIPRESCI-India calls for Entries for the Chidananda Dasgupta Memorial Award for Best Film Criticism To commemorate the Birth Centenary of their Founder President, Chidananada Dasgupta (Born: 20 Nov 1921), FIPRESCI India calls for the competition on film criticism, 2021. ֍ Organised by: FIPRESCI-India (India Chapter of the International Federation of Film Critics: FIPRESCI) ֍ Cash Value for the Best Awards: Best= Rs.6,000/- and 2nd Best= Rs.4,000/- ֍ Certificate of Merit: Besides the award-winning entries, 'Certificate of Merit' will be conferred to a maximum 05 (five) outstanding entries, as per jury evaluation. ֍ Incentive: Entries winning the Awards and Certificates of Merit will be published in 'E-CineIndia' (ISSN: 2582-2500), with due credit. ֍ Entry Fee: NIL ֍ Deadline for Submission: 30 September 2021. ֍ Eligibility: Any Citizen of India (Except Members of FIPRESCI). ֍ Limitation: One Contestant can submit only One Entry. ֍ Deliverable: Critical analysis of any Indian feature film made in any language (preferably highly acclaimed and/or very popular, with its full technical details like: Title, Year, Language, Director, etc.) ֍ Language of the write up: English. ֍ Word Limit: Maximum 2,000 Words. ֍ Format: PDF (only soft copy). ֍ Self Declaration: At the bottom of the write-up, there must be a self-declaration, confirming that the article is written by the Contestant, it is an original one, free from plagiarism and never published anywhere. ֍ Mandatory Information: Below the self-declaration, Full Name, Gender, Age, Address, e-mail ID and Mobile/WhatsApp No. of the Contestant should be written. ֍ Legal Responsibility: Contestants will be liable for any legal responsibility like plagiarism. ֍ Judgment: FIPRESCI-India will set up a Jury and their evaluation/decision will be final. ֍ How to Submit your entries: Soft Copy of the PDF file, with all information and declaration, should be mailed to <indiafipresci@gmail.com>, before 30 Sept 2021. 22.08.2021 | Siraj Syed's blog Cat. : E-CineIndia News PROS
