Red Sea International Film FestivalThe third edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival (RedSeaIFF) will run in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from November 30 till December 9, 2023. The Red Sea International Film Festival brings the best in Arab and World Cinema to Jeddah Old Town. The Festival showcases exciting new films on the Saudi big-screen, alongside retrospective programs celebrating the masters of cinema, the latest Saudi films, and feature and short film competitions. There are also industry events and workshops nurturing the next generation of talent. In ‘Celebration of Women in Cinema’, the Red Sea International Film Festival (RedSeaIFF), hosted a gala event this evening at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival on the grounds of the magnificent Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes. There are still more exciting films screening for the first time today, as well as loads of repeats so you can catch up on films you have missed. Talent days starts today, and it provides the opportunity to develop skills and insight to take projects to the next level, touching on everything from production to financing. Led by industry experts invited to share their experience and give updated in film production, financing, and distribution. In various sessions across two days, they will share their industry expertise and inspiration to help emerging filmmakers expand their knowledge and skills for a competitive edge in the international market.

Egyptian actress, singer and glamour icon Yousra has starred in 81 films – including several with the maestro Youssef Chahine - and 20 television series. She will discuss the role of an actress within a production: the influence she has on the director, how she approaches characters and the impact the roles she has played have had on her.
Masterclass: Laurie Anderson 17.00 -14,00 Hayy Jameel Courtyard
Musician, writer, director and artist Laurie Anderson has been a pioneer in fusing experimental technology with creative work at the highest level. Recently, she has been exploring VR. She will discuss the possibilities she has discovered in the new medium and what she sees as its future.
