The grand opening of the Cinema City Film Festival celebrated the film The Secret in Their Eyes by Juan José Campanella, this year’s Oscar winner for Best Foreign Language Film of the Year. The festival ruptured charismatic actress and singer Juliette Lewis, a special guest of the Festival at Katolicka porta in Novi Sad. A fab Juliette also performed in front of a bewilder crowd with her postpunk garage indy band New Romantics at Petrovaradin Fortress, well know by its magnificent Exit Festival, recently proclaimed as the most popular music festival in Europe. Cinema City organized a great opening party at Petrovaradin Fortress. The following music on the opening party spiced up a sound and synchronized videography inspired by retro, synthpop, funk aesthetics, in the conjunction with electronic Daft Punk or Chemical Brothers kind of music.
At the first press conference journalists were privilege to see a Superstar Juliette Lewis, while other visitors have had the chance to see an old classic Natural Born Killers by Oliver Stone in one of the numerous open air cinemas.
