Plus Camerimage

The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography PLUS CAMERIMAGE is the greatest and most recognized festival dedicated to the art of cinematography and its creators - cinematographers. PLUS CAMERIMAGE contributes to the growth of cinematographers' prestige. The unconventional format of the Festival, which awards films according to their visual, aesthetic and technical values, has turned out to be an alternative for traditional film festivals. As all our guests emphasize - PLUS CAMERIMAGE is unique. The Festival proves to be a great forum not only for presentation but also for further development of international moviemaking. PLUS CAMERIMAGE helps young filmmakers and integrates the community of those already recognized, allowing them to explore new artistic areas.

Polish Films Competition under the patronage of Plus network operator

Plus Camerimage
Festival presents Polish Films Competition. The competition will be held under
the patronage of our long-term partner - Plus network operator.

Polish Films Competition under the patronage of Plus network
operator
is the most interesting presentation of contemporary Polish cinema,
evaluated by a jury comprising exclusively of foreign artists and film critics.
We have adopted the principle of showing the films within the competition to
great foreign artists, and representatives of the international press as the
first Polish festival. The films awarded annually within our competition are
examples of original cinema and interesting creative strategies. Those are also
films which are set in Polish culture and at the same time can appeal to an
international audience in a universal way.

Polish Films Competition
under the patronage of Plus network operator
is an excellent opportunity to
promote the most interesting, local Polish artists who can show their
achievements to the international audience consisting of active filmmakers,
well-known producers, respected critics. Our prestigious competition is a great
opportunity for Polish directors and cinematographers to become known among the
foreign audience, and to become a part of the international film production and
distribution.

The following are the films accepted into the Polish Film
Competition:

  • Christening, The cinematographer:
    Paweł Flis, director: Marcin Wrona
  • Erratum cinematographer:
    Przemysław Kamiński, director: Marek Lechki
  • Little Rose cinematographer:
    Piotr Wojtowicz, director: Jan Kidawa-Błoński
  • Made in Poland cinematographer:

  • Tomorrow will be better
cinematographer: Artur Reinhart, director: Dorota Kędzierzawska

Plus network operator is the
Patron of the Polish Film Competition and the Festival’s Titular Sponsor.
The long-term cooperation with Plus gives us stability and allows for
continuous development of the Festival. The support we receive from Plus is also
their great contribution to the international promotion of Polish cinema and its
creators. Operator's patronage over the Polish Film Competition is a natural
consequence of Plus's involvement in Polish culture.
