Grossmann Fantastic Film and Wine Festival is among the „5 Coolest Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festivals in the World“ as voted by the readers of MovieMaker Magazine from the USA, the world's most widely read independent film magazine.

Each year, MovieMaker Magazine publishes a list of „Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World“. This year, for the first time ever, their readers were also able to vote for five coolest fests in 10 new genre-specific categories. Grossmann Festival was voted one of the „5 Coolest Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festivals in the World“, along with Fantastic Fest (Austin, USA), Mile High Horror Film Festival (Denver, USA), Sacramento Horror Film Festival (Sacramento, USA) and Shriekfest (Los Angeles, USA).

The 10th edition of Grossmann Fantastic Fllm and Wine Festival will take place from the 14th to the 19th of July 2014 in Ljutomer, Slovenia. During past editions, it was visited by film legends such as Sir Christopher Lee, Franco Nero, Roger Corman, Menahem Golan, Jose Mojica Marins, Ruggero Deodato, Brian Yuzna, Slobodan Šijan, Goran Marković and many more. Since 2010, Grossmann Festival is an adherent member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (EFFFF).
