The official section FANTASTIC CINEMA, comes to us with a lineup with several World and International Premiers and the most diverse award-winning feature films at prestigious festivals.

Highlight forever strong representation of Japanese cinema, to the presence of a surprising Ukrainian film, from a Malaysian film, country for the first time present at the festival. Strong presence also of the extremely creative European Cinema, this year again with great productions coming mainly from France, Italy, Spain and the UK. Register still especially the presence of the new film of Japanese director Takashi Shimizu, who has already won the Fantasy Sports Grand Prix in 2021, which brought us to 2022, his new film in the World Premiere and which will leave us stunned by the his "Immersion" showing off in Absolute World Premiere, without Toei, her mega producer even disclosed the actors she worked with. A portuguese film , s Oh. S. will measure strength against others competing in this category, in a particularly rich and diverse year. Present still 16 short films in competition, representatives of the best in short-lived fantasy cinema, featuring a film from Singapore, a country that for the first time has a film of its screened in Portugal and Fantasporto.
