(Danvers, MA- August 16, 2023) WWF champion Chris Jericho is the latest to join the star-studded roster of celebrities set to appear at Silver Scream Con, a horror filled weekend curated by Ice Nine Kills’ frontman Spencer Charnas September 8th-10th at The DoubleTree Boston North Shore Hotel in Danvers, MA. In addition to his wrestling career which continues with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Jericho is the lead singer of the heavy metal band FOZZY and hosts “Talk is Jericho” podcasts which boasts over 250 million downloads for its 800 episodes.  

Previously announced stars taking part in the second annual Silver Scream Con include the original Candyman Tony Todd, Skeet Ulrich (the Scream franchise, The Craft, Riverdale), Halloween III and IT (1990) director Tommy Lee Wallace, genre legend Tom Atkins, (The Fog, Creepshow, Halloween III), and official convention host, Sirius XM’s star DJ Jose Mangin,  and the star of Ice Nine Kills’ own cinematic universe, Nadia Teichmann. 

Ice Nine Kills will headline a sold out concert Saturday, September 9, at the Lynn MA Memorial Auditorium, along with INSPIRIT (formerly VANNA), He Is Legend and The Funeral Portrait. INK will return to New England as part of Metallica’s M72 World Tour, which hits Gillette stadium in 2024. 

Legendary make-up FX guru Tom Savini (Friday the 13th, Dawn Of The Dead, Creepshow) will be in attendance, along with masked slasher icons C.J. Graham (Jason from Friday The 13th VI: Jason Lives), Tom Morga (Jason from Friday The 13th V: A New Beginning), Don Shanks (Michael Myers from Halloween 5), and Dick Warlock (Michael Myers from Halloween II). The titular deceased character himself, Terry Kiser from Weekend at Bernie’s, Alex Vincent from Child’s Play 1 and 2, and Academy Award winning make-up FX artist Christopher Nelson (Halloween 2018, Kill Bill, Suicide Squad) will also make appearances. 

Additional Silver Scream Con stars include Terrifer series’ cast members Jenna Kanell, Catherine Corcoran and Leah Voysey as well as Robert Brian Wilson and Eric Freeman the stars of the Infamous 1980’s Santa slasher series, Silent Night, Deadly Night. Making their Silver Scream con debut will be James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca, hosts of the wildly popular Dead Meat Youtube Channel, which boasts more than 6 million subscribers. 

Silver Scream Con 2023 will also welcome iconic movie critic and genre aficionado Joe Bob Briggs (TNT’s MonsterVision, Casino, Last Drive-In) and Darcy The Mailgirl (co-hosts of Joe Bob’s Drive-In Theater), Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter star Judie Aronson, and Christine Elise (Child’s Play 2, 90210). 

This weekend of horror includes exclusive photo ops, celebrity signings, costume contests, scary-oke and discussion panels hosted by culture journalist Ryan J. Downey. New England horror fans will be especially excited to learn that original Spooky World creator, David Bertolino will be on hand to discuss  his new documentary, Spooktacular, about the legendary New England haunt that started it all.
