Stressed-out New Yorkers can take a big breath now and get some much-needed relief by watching a new short film titled, "Inner Peace” a Positive Vision Network Production. "Inner Peace" has been selected to screen as part of the prestigious New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) on March 25th at the Village Cinema in Manhattan.This film is co- directed by award-winning filmmaker Kathleen Ammalee Rogers and 13 times Telly Award Winner Alan Heath. Festival officials have named this “a must see film.”

Written, narrated and co-produced by Rogers with co-producer and cinematographer Heath, "Inner Peace" is a soothing 13 minute visual poem which literally melts stress away and leaves the viewer feeling that life is truly good. Heath’s stunning high definition footage mesmerizes the viewer with both the delicate and the bold beauty of the Shenandoah mountain valley and crystal clear Virginia rivers. A classical score woven with Rogers’ soothing and artful narrative transports the viewer into an experience of deep inner peace and awe at the beauty in the world around us.

Heath is no newcomer to nature film making. His 1999 film "The Florida Burrowing Owl " won a Classic Telly Award Best in 20 years, the Best Conservation Message at the International Wildlife Festival Montana Film Festival and the Communicator Award. As a part of the PVN team, Heath says, “It is a known fact that when people go into nature they become a part of it, slow down and relax----just watch children playing in a field or someone sitting by the campfire under the trees.
