Joe Talbot Biography and FilmographyJoe Talbott gained attention in 1994 when the trailer for his first screenplay Waterman premiered at the Independent Feature Film Market in New York. A tribute to Talbott's adopted home on the Chesapeake Bay, Waterman earned critical acclaim from many influential distributors including Fine Line Features and H.B.O., who recognized Talbott as an emerging talent in the independent film community and have since tracked his career. Waterman was a springboard for Talbott, who has since earned critical and film festival notoriety with several award-winning festival shorts. Prior to his narrative debut, Talbott directed and produced documentary and corporate television pieces for such clients as AT&T, GEICO Insurance and Estee Lauder. Whether entertaining audiences with his humorous take on American corporate life or parodying pop culture, Talbott created memorable programs Award (twice) and the International Television Association's Award of Excellence. Working with the themes that have interested him for a decade, the humor of everyday life and the seriousness of a life going off the rails, Talbott continues his ambitious exploration. In Eat Me!, Talbott has created an entertaining and sweet story that illustrates the humanity in life's funny little struggles. Filmography: When Rommates go Bad , 1999.
