Brother of director Randal Kleiser, Jeff Kleiser was born in Philadelphie and received a diploma in Computer Sciences at Colgate University (New York State). He founded Digital Effects in New York and worked for Disney involved in the special effects of Tron (1982). He then became director of special effects at Omnibus Computer Animation and took the Pixel-INA Prize for visual effects for Flight of the Navigator (1986) at Imagina 87. In 1987, he founded Kleiser-Walczak Construction Company (KWCC) and developed character animation techniques in 3D based on motion capture. KWCC worked with Douglas Trumbull in 1992 on the computer animation of the attraction park film-triptych for Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. KWCC has also been involved in several feature films including Stargate and The Rage:Carrie 2. He recently made The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman for Universal Studios in Florida and the computer animation in the opera by Robert Wilson Monsters of Grace.
