Cine Las Americas is selected to receive American Rescue Plan grant from the National Endowment for the Arts
Cine Las Americas is proud and humbled to announce that it has been selected by the National Endowment for the Arts to receive grant funding as part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP). The ARP awarded $57,750,000 in grant funding to 567 arts organizations to help the arts and cultural sector recover from the pandemic. We are pleased to share that we are recommended for a grant of $100,000.
These funds will be applied over the course of two years and allow Cine Las Americas to have a full-time dedicated Executive Director and part-time Development and Communications Coordinator. In addition, support additional job creation and programming efforts.
We are incredibly grateful to be recommended and recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts. This funding will allow Cine Las Americas to continue to provide programming highlighting Latinx and Indigenous voices, help recover from the pandemic and continue our mission to promote cross-cultural understanding and growth through film and media arts.
