Marcel Duchamp the Art of the Possible selected to The Fine Arts Film Festival

The Fine Arts Film Festival (FAFF) is dedicated to showing the finest films in the world about art, the art world, and films that are art in and of themselves. Painting, photography, sculpture, performance art of all mediums, artists in and out of their studios, collectors, galleries, museums, public art, and alternative art spaces are all part of FAFF. This includes video art, curated as a Film or a Virtual Reality medium. We also have a Screenplay Competition!

The 7th Annual Fine Arts Film Festival will be held on Friday May 29 through Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the historic Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center Theatre. Following that, the VR Section of the Festival will be held on June 6 from 11-4pm at the Creative Technology Center at the Brewery in downtown LA.

Featuring exceptionally creative and important films about art, artists, and the art world - many premiering for the first time in the United States - from countries around the world!

We also screen Official Selections at venues throughout the year - in 2019 we screened selections at Furst World in Joshua Tree, the LA Art Show in Los Angeles, and a prominent venue in Tallinn, Estonia.

All Official Selection films will receive an offer for an international distribution deal from ViCAFilms in partnership with a veteran distribution firm that cares for the filmmaker as much as we do.
