Cannes Market Dailies

Highland Film Group will handle the worldwide sales of MANTIVITIES, produced, written by, and starring Chris Pine (STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, HORRIBLE BOSSES 2, INTO THE WOODS) and real-life friends Robert Baker, Ian Gotler, Will Greenberg, Drew Howerton, and Tony Liebetrau – also collectively known as The Button Factory. Highland will introduce the project to international buyers at Cannes International Film Festival.

Pine, Sarah Babineau, and Haven Entertainment’s Kevin Mann (UNDER THE ELECTRIC SKY) with Jordana Mollick (LIFE PARTNERS) are producing MANTIVITIES, Val Hill and Ian McGloin from 16:14 Entertainment will executive produce, and their partner Sycamore Entertainment Group (SEGI), led by CEO Edward Sylvan, will co-finance. Olivier Rossmann, CEO of Locamatel LLC, is the other co-financier and will be an executive producer. Haven Entertainment’s Mauricio Betancur and Brendan Bragg will also executive produce.

As recently announced, Highland is handling international sales for a slate of three genre titles from Anchor Bay UK – WORLD WAR DEAD, WE STILL KILL THE OLD WAY, and AGE OF KILL – with sales to start in Cannes. In addition, Highland’s current sales slate includes Kelvin Tong’s suspenseful new horror film EMAIL, Kevin Connolly’s THE WRIGHT GIRLS starring Jessica Alba, and SANCTUARY from director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego; the latter two films are both produced by Charles Roven’s Atlas Independent.
