THE LOST GIRLS

Altitude has acquired the UK & Irish distribution rights to  fantasy/drama feature The Lost Girls. The film is inspired by J.M. Barrie classic Peter Pan and is based on the novel by Laurie Fox.
The film is written and directed by Livia De Paolis (Emoticon ;)), in which she also features along with an ensemble cast including Joely Richardson (101 Dalmatians, Nip/Tuck), Vanessa Redgrave (Atonement, Letters to Juliet), Julian Ovenden (The Crown, Bridgerton), Parker Sawyers (Southside with YouP-Valley), Emily Carey (House of the DragonWonder Woman), Louis Partridge (PistolEnola Holmes), Ella Rae Smith (Séance, The Stranger) and Iain Glen (Resident Evil franchise, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Game of Thrones) as Hook.
Anna Patarakina (Breaking Surface, Get Even) is director of photography, Gini Godwin (Blue Story, The Flood) is production designer and Miguel E. Rebagliato (The Crown, The Little Drummer Girl) and David Freeman (Clash of the Titans, The Fully Monty) are the editors.  The original score is from Marc Canham (I Care a Lot, Close).
The Lost Girls chronicles four generations of Darling women as they struggle in the aftermath of their adventures with Peter Pan (Partridge) in Neverland.  Like her grandmother (Redgrave) and her mother Jane (Richardson), Wendy (Carey and De Paolis) must escape Pan’s hold on her and the promise he desperately wants her to keep. As her daughter Berry (Rae-Smith) comes into Peter’s orbit, Wendy must fight to save her relationship with her daughter while reconciling her legacy.
Altitude will release the film theatrically in late spring 2022.
Said producer Peter Touche “I have known Will and Andy for many years and I couldn’t think of a better partner to bring this fresh reimagining of the Peter Pan story to UK audiences, who will find themselves taken to unexpected places”.
“Altitude are extremely proud to be bringing Livia’s modern and exciting retelling of such a timeless and beloved story to audiences across the UK & Ireland next year,” said Andy Mayson, co-CEO of Altitude.

Myriad Pictures is handling international sales on the film and is co-repping the U.S. with UTA Independent Film Group.
